If fuel filter not clean usually when you increase speed it go slow so may be this not connect to the case at all

Cruise control can decrease speed if not work propertly (even if it off)?

You can say im paranoik but i feel that speed go down too fast when i release gas pedal for this condition - downhill and 50-75 mph ...."engine stop" speed decrease work much slower

I am certain that our trucks have DFCO Decelleration Fuel Cut Off...this means when not on the gas over xx00 rpm's the engine cuts fuel to the engine, so it coasts without using gas.

I have an electronic mpg gauge (Scanguage II), when coasting the MPG goes to 9999...I have never looked to see if the gallons per minute go to 0 or 9999 but this is my best guess.

put iti in neutral when going downhill then. i have a 3 mile down grade every day on the freeway. i just put it in neutral, and usually start gaining speed about half way down. 75+

Thanks for evreybody for answers

little remark - this my first 4X4 car so im absolutly beginner in the field - may be my question will be stupid - but you know - if you not ask you not study Im even dont know how truck sounds and every new noise or not usual thing for like sign to check

So this answer sound very logical but i never hear about this equipment:

"I am certain that our trucks have DFCO Decelleration Fuel Cut Off...this means when not on the gas over xx00 rpm's the engine cuts fuel to the engine, so it coasts without using gas."

I fougth abot o\d off problem - may be it on always 3-rd even if o\d not light - but i dont now what is usual RPM for 65 on 4-th in usual condition on the road? Somebody?

I fougth about handbrake stuck - but after ride wheels are cool...

no 65 on the freeway should only be about 3k rpms. the over drive button has 2 settings, in and out. if its in, its on. if its out its off. push on it a few times to see where it is, then make the decision for yourself, which is in, and which is out. you will notice a BIG BIG BIG difference between overdrive on and over drive off. :puterpunch:
