You don't need speakers in the back, that's a useless sound stage.

 

you need a front sound stage, which any two or three way speaker can cover, and a subwoofer.

 

I have two pioneer 6x8's in the front doors powered by my pioneer premier deck, and a 12" alpine type s powered by a 150 watt jbl amp. I have the fader set to front and it sounds amazing.

I used that stuff all over the roof and rear quarter panels when I had the interior out to put the roof rack. Now I need to pull my front door panels and add it in there. I can tell a big difference when I knock on the read quarter panels and the door. I'm gonna get hooked on this stuff now I want to do my titan too.

Link doesn't work, but I'm assuming that's torch down roofing material. I've got the @!*% everywhere, made a huge difference in highway noise and the bass stays in the cabin.

 

For those of you that can't access the link, that stuff is called Peel and Seal, which can be bought quite cheaply at a home improvement store.

Why not? I don't always drive alone in my truck. Sometimes I have the back seats filled too and all my passengers want music.

I actually removed my rear seat bottoms, perfect place for the sub box! With a decent set of speakers in the front, your passengers should be able to listen just fine, no point in spending extra money on speakers that won't benefit you.

The front speaker room is very limited. What is the biggest size a 91 can fit? 5x7, 6x8?

I was considering the pillar tweeters too.

87-92 pathys take a 5 IIRC inch in the front and 6x9 in the rear 93-95s have 5x7 and tweeters all around.

I know where I will put the tweeters. I will put them in the headliner plastic things so they are right above.
