they're OK, I had Pro Comp 9000's on before I put the RC (Heckethorn's) on and I think they're a little too soft for me, I like a bit stiffer shock. I have Rancho 5000's on the back and I can't tell a difference between those and the Pro Comps.

I'll eventually go back to the Pro Comp 9000's for front or Rancho 5000's

You know, for the price right now, You'd be crazy not to take Rancho up on their New RS9000xl series. I just ordered some from 4wheelparts.com cause they were by far the cheapest i could find out there. They are advertising the shock themselves for $88.19 a shock for the RS999214(front with lift) and RS999112(Rear with Lift)But thats not all. Up until August you can get $100.00 buck rebate from Rancho back on the purchase of 4 9000xl shocks so that brings the cost of each shock down to a WHOPPING $63.19. That's pretty freaking nice for a 9 way adjustable shock. When you compare that to other manufacturers for what you're getting, its a no brainer. Go for the Rancho. I went ahead and picked up a RS5402 Steering Stabilizer for $45.89 and the RS5533 Mounting Brackets for 24.99 at the same time. With everything my total came up to $456.26 before the $100.00 rebate so really only $356.26 and the Shipping was free.

Good luck with your decision.

Rancho does make an incredible product, and that in cab adjustment simply rocks. However I must agree, the Procomp stuff is worth its weight. I had a complete RC lift with shocks, and replaced the shocks with some gabriel ultra's just because I did not like the way the RC shocks acted. Its a preference thing. Ebay has a complete set of Procomp shocks for lifted pathy's (2 to 4 inch lift) for $145 shipped. Thought about doing that, or going the Gabriel route again....

Good luck.

If you are talking about he shocks that come in the RC lift kit for the hardbody they don't work in the pathfinder, you will find that the front shocks limit up and down travel slightly, and the rear shocks are not even close to long enough. The front shocks you can get away with but the rear shocks are a no go.
