Cuong Nguyen
I'm just being anal here but does anyone have a picture as to where the negative battery grounding wire attaches to on the fender well? I plan on getting around and replacing my power steering reservoir tomorrow and would like to locate all the wires where they were originally. I never got around to fitting everything up since the accident years back.
Precise1
Right behind the battery, bolted straight down on top of the fender well and I believe it also carries on over to the power steering bracket. I have to go take some pictures of something else, so let me go snap a few... B

Mine is the TD2.7 Diesel, but the positioning should be similar to the V6 petrol From the battery the ground cable runs along the fender to behind the power steering reservoir as in this picture. It has a clamp type bracket around the bared section of wire with another grounding wire in the same place. Then it runs across to the manifold where it is terminated to the engine block as shown thus.
Cuong Nguyen
Thanks! I attached it similar to that pictured. I forgot I had added additional grounding wires so the fender well is a mess! Slowly but surely it will be cleaned up!

Manifesto
Right one Now I've got a question of my own... My factory ground wires and points are starting to get preeeeetty corroded. Mostly from rust Has anyone dabbled with after market ground wire kits? I was considering this one for under $40 ... http://www.sportcompactonly.com/Ground-Wire-Kit/Ignition-Electronics/Performance/part_c-78_p-2286.htm?st=23 that way I could ground to a bunch of places that... aren't rusted. any thoughts? Cuong Nguyen
I Just made my own since the lengths in that kit are not specific for any thing so it's like a hit or miss with either a short line or long line than needed.
Precise1
Yeah, you would probably be better off (cheaper too) just buying exactly what you need for wire and putting the ends on yourself. B
