BIGPHIL
Hey everyone!! My name is Phil im 21 and just got my first PATHFINDER. She is a 95 SE with leather seats,5spd,sunroof,roof rack, and 31x10.5 A/T on the factory LEGO rims. this is my first 4x4,suv, and also my first nissan. I hope to learn alot from the members of this site. she needs a few things like a new drivers arm rest and maybe a new hood(walnuts falling on it) But i have already changed both front and rear brakes(actually broke the caliper bracket and spent two days finding it) but she is a good running ol'girl and will be getting new tires (31x10.5 again) and a slight lift but before that she is getting a new timing belt. --phil-- Edited April 18, 2010 by BIDPHIL

dhardison
Welcome from another Pathfinder owner in Middle TN. Lots of decent used Nissans including Pathfinders wind up for sale in Rutherford county. Many of these good used Pathfinders began life here new as a 2 year Nissan employee lease for the Smyrna plant back in the late 80's early 90's. Back in those days plant employees could lease a new well equipped Maxima or Pathfinder for 2 years at $200 per month. After the 2 years many people loved them so much they bought them when the lease was up and from there they just started getting passed down through family generations. BIGPHIL
thats kinda cool.... I personally dont like living in the "boro" Because I work as a security officer in Nashville and personally hate the commute( soon to be going to the actual police academy). I am originally from Auburn AL. and moved to Lewisburg TN about 13 years ago and I moved to a better job market in rutherford county. dhardison i see you have a 370Z roadster.... I have personally driven only an 04 350z but it had a TEIN coilover setup EIBACH swaybars and drag radials , that along with the sixspeed trans made the drive from North Carolina really fun... lets says I tested the VLSD out a few times. --phil--

You've got a rare 95, a non LE with leather and a five speed. My Z is fun, one of several I've owned, especially this time of year when I wake it up after a long winter nap and start driving it. But it's like most new cars, almost too good and way too expensive. 95% of the time it's almost frustrating to drive. Stuck in endless traffic wishing everybody would get out of the way. Escort constantly going off from all the radar traps as the counties / cities try to re-coup all the tax money they've lost due to the bad economy so now they're trying to make it up in traffic court revenue. The other 5% is pure heaven. I could go on but this isn't a Z forum and I don't talk about it too much here. I'll just repeat something I've heard a few times that's really starting to hit home with me now that new cars are getting faster every year and traffic is getting worse every year. "It's a lot more fun to drive a slow car fast than to drive a fast car slow" Best of luck and I think time and this forum will prove that a Tennessee 5 speed Pathfinder is a pretty good place to start.
