12161216 Posted January 24, 2010 Share Posted January 24, 2010 Hi everyone, just got my 97 and am finding my ac/heat controls are acting up. Here we go. Firt of Ac works fine and heat works fine as well as all the fan speeds. The issue is that at the coldest temp all is well then if I turn the dial on notch toward heat I get very hot heat. So I go from cool to heat and nothing in between. Trying to decide if it is the blower resistor, the controls them self or I see there is a little black box down low behind the middle dash that has a arm that moves electrically when I turn the ac/heat dial. Alkorahil Posted January 27, 2010 Share Posted January 27, 2010 Air pockets can build up in the heater core and heater lines or you were low on coolant anbd broughtit back up to the correct level.
