Nickj
Thanks Nick , are these what you were thinking of . Yeah pretty much Cyril. The slider bars and steps were always going to be the easy part. It was the bracketing that really caught my interest. It's given me heaps of ideas for mine - thanks for sharing with us. Will you be adding any brackets that bolt up through the pinch weld? The Rocky Road ones have them, not sure if it is warranted though. Once I get a job I will get moving on them. Along with many other things that have cropped up since we had money. We had a great weekend away. I will do a report and post up in Trips section. JUDGE
Those are some nice! What's the gap between them and the doors when they're opening? Looks pretty tight.

Cyril
Sweet sliders! Nick Thanks Nick , Yeh they look better when then on . Those are some nice! What's the gap between them and the doors when they're opening? Looks pretty tight. Cheers Judge , The gap is a 10mm ( 1cm ) , which allows for full sill protection offroad and if he gets T boned from another car it will offer more protection for his family , and if he can bend then i'll be extremely impressed . I just have to say that is some very nice work! -Dan Cheers Dan , They were my first set of R50 Sliders and Jasun ( the now owner of them ) is happy with then so it's all good . Freakin' sweeeeet looking, great work man. Cheers Man , Glad you like them . those are very nice cyril Thanks Nige , Any ideas for the next set i build , was thinking of using them as an air tank as well for inflating the tyres after a beach run ? Nickj
Cyril Does the sq tube sit in the corner of the seam just below the sill? Or are they at the level of the lowest point of the underside? ie. rear trans crossmember? I picked up the steel finally today. I bent up some round tube for the steps but I am not happy with it. Lucky I only bent 1 side. Nick
