i have a 93 pathfinder xe, and im sure you all read my post, about me being a dumb ass and cutting the wires on the ecu, is the wires for the automatic any different than the 5 speed?

 

 

 

will they all match up

 

or only the 5 speed one.

My guess is yes it will as there is a separate transmission control unit for the automatics. This has been covered somewhere before...

 

 

thanks! i just didnt know there is a few different colored wires.

I do not know about wire colors, but a manual tranny ECU can not be used in a truck with an auto tranny, but an auto tranny ECU can be used in manual tranny truck. This is because the auto tranny ECU talks to the AT controler. This would indicate that there are additional wires, but again, I have no idea about the colors.

 

Are you not just reinstalling the ECU you cut out??
