OEM cd changer or Clarion head unit?

Well, I bought a new Clarion DXZ745MP head unit about three weeks ago, and now I have a new car. So, my question is, should I keep the stock Bose 6 disc changer in my pathy, or put in the Clarion? I really would prefer to use the clarion, but I don't know if I would be able to use the steering wheel-mounted controls with it. Also, I've never been a big fan of cd changers, anyway. Also, I have a pair of 10" subs and a 300 watt amp to power, and I don't know if the stock changer will power this or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

stockers dont have pre amp outs so you would have to get some sort of adapter that creates pre amp outs. so the amp would get a signal. but it would be better to put in the clairon and hook it up the amp and subs. i doubt you could use the steering wheel switches ;)
