Would it still hit the truck if it had a 3" body lift like I do?

 

Yes it hits the area where the upper mount is. That's on the frame not the body.

 

Look at the picture you will see scratches where the sway bar hits at full flex. It's no big deal but if you had any part of the link still attached to the upper mount the sway bar would hit it. You see what I'm saying?

I disconnect 1 side only, that gives freeflex and keeps it from hanging donw. @ some point I plan to invert the sway bar so the ends mount to the axle and the clamps mount to the frame. The ends on the axle will be heims with a lync pin and when Its disconected they will clip to a braket on the body to keep them out of the way.

You gonna do a write up in this!?
