Spare Tire

Hey all,

I have a 2001 pathy and need to know how to remove the spare tire. I can't believe I'm asking this question but I poped under the rear end today and thought there would be some lug nuts - nope...

Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest looking in your owners manual or around your jack. I believe sw is correct. When they moved the tire under the rear end, they set it up with a winch (though I don't know the mechaniccs of it as mine is on the tail end). Trick it to find what to crank.

Thanks man.

I looked under the rear seat and I have:

1> Jack

2> Jack lift tool (bar)

3> pouch w/ gray steel cup (prob for spare removal) and lug wrench

Should I have anymore tools? Some people said they had tools for their spark plugs.

Thanks again man (manual does not say a thing!)

My 89 didn't but my 94 does have 2 plug tools.

The lug wrench is also the cranck handle for the jack...
