Misfire

Was running down the freeway last night and all at once the truck started to mis. I checked all the plugs and all are burning well. Are the injectors something that goes out on these often? Any ideas? I have 127,000 miles.

No, not often, but sometimes. First thing is check the ECU codes, there is a write up in the Garage/How To section...

I played with the MAF wire, did not feel or see anything wrong with it however after putting it back on the truck runs fine.

That's not uncommon. Try re-running the ground. I've seen folks run it right to the battery.

LOL, that was going to be the next suggestion. The angle and placement of the connector seems to cause problems.

 

Lets hope that is all it needed, but if it begins to stumble on you again, you know right what to mess with. I have a TPS that is acting up the same way (it affects idle though)...
