Coming home the other night my headlights went out then came back on

then out again. I smelt some bruning plastic but could see where its coming

from my dash an a/c was effected by the head light prob. any thoughts let me know thanks Brian

When I first got my 91, the battery was not secured by the previous owner.as a result the 3 fuseable links at the + battery terminal were damaged and my headlights would go out frequently. Took about 1 week to figure out. I thought it was the headlight switch but replacing that didn't fix the problem.
