krmiller07
Does anyone out there have any experince with the installation of 'Super-Winch' manual hubs ? I found a great deal on a set ( New ) on Ebay and was wondering if they will work on an '89' Pathfinder-SE, with Automatic hubs. And is there any noticeable advantage to using them ? i.e. better gas milage etc. Thanks, krmiller07 Edited August 9, 2009 by krmiller07
Precise1
Personally, I have no experience with the superwinch product. No, you shouldn't see any increase in gas milage as the CVs do not turn when you are not in 4x4. What you get is improved reliability and better function under specific offroad conditions. Some people will argue otherwise, but that is the general consensus. B
KovemaN
Before 1990, the V6 D21s and Pathfinders had 27 spline hubs. 1990 and later had 28 spline hubs. I couldn't say for sure whether the ebay hubs would fit.
