Can I replace shocks myself?

I ran a search and can not find procedure for shock replacement. Can anyone help? I want to upgrade to rancho 5000. I cant figure out what size either. I also need to replace the shocks on my hardbodyn p-up if anyone can help. :huh:

I swapped out my rear shocks at about 10pm, in my driveway, wearing a headlamp - didn't have to jack the truck up, didn't have to do anything other than remove nuts/bolts and swap... I would imagine it is the easiest thing on the truck to replace... easier than changing a tire...
