Jeffrey
Anybody out there been able to find a reasonably priced complete stainless steel high flow cat-back exhaust system. I've looked at alot of the aftermarket companies like Summit, but it seems as though I'll just have to piece my system together. If I go this route, will 2.5" piping kill my low end torque? I'm thinking magnaflow high flow cat pn#22760 to a flowmaster 50 series muffler will be the way to go.
edicer2
i put a flowmaster 40 on mine and a magnaflow high flow cat and it sounds good i only put on 2.25 inch though
Jeffrey
Is your 40 series pretty mellow sounding when you're not hammering the throttle? By the way your Pathfinder looks badass. Edited July 17, 2009 by Jeffrey
Kingman
I had a magnaflow hi-flow cat and a Flowmaster 40 series on mine as well and it sounded extremely good. It had a raspy and burly idle note and when you put your foot in it the tone was nice and deep and linear. I did 2.25" as well.
MY1PATH
borla makes a 2.5" cat-back but yes it will remove your bottom end. Here's what I have, I'm pretty happy with it. http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...st&p=408591

Your rig sounds great- I think I'll stick to piecing together my new exhaust with 2.25" piping as I can't aford to give up what little torque I've got now.
