KP3S
Hello to every body, I am Carlos from Isabela, NW coast, Puerto Rico. I just got a 1992 XE model in great shape that drives like a dream from a lawyer, always wanted a Pathfinder but it was out of my budget until now. Now I will have some fun in the beach and exploring the remote areas on the island. I am a disable veteran that like the outdoors like camping with a good BBQ, a quiet time at the beach and exploring caves and we do have some interesting caves here on the island. Lets see what this summer brings on beside those annoying storms, and cheers. Edited May 23, 2009 by KP3S

KP3S
Carlos you gotta get us some pictures up man (not just of the Pathy but of the "terrain"). Welcome First I need to find the "good off roads". I was born here but I was away since 1978 in the US Army. Second I have to do some fixing of some minor stuff on the Pathy, I just find out after I washed the engine with degreser that the engine don't want to start when wet. This model is the XE-V6 2X4 and I need to be careful were I go with it. I was lucky to find one here in this conditions, most vintage SUV of this year are junk, this one is a jewel since the lawyer took good care with the pm's but on the outside could use a fresh coat of paint, new tail lights and both sets of lift supports in the tailgate and the back window. Other than that the truck is fine. Today I took it to the beach and I was cruising for about 3 hours along the west coast of the island, exploring new places. Next trip is going to be to the Camuy Caverns that is about 1 hour drive from home. I promise I will post some pics the next time, my wife forgot the camera at home this time. KP3S
Hola Don Ramón and Legal Alien, thanks for the welcome. Don Ramón: Gracias hermano latino, tu Pathy se parece a la mia en cuanto al color y también tiene el mismo problema con la pintura en el mismo lugar. LegalAlien: Screamming Eagle brother, I suffered a accident while I was stationed at Ft. Cambell that impeded my military career after 10 years of service back in 1984, I now sit at home waiting for my VA check at 100% compensation. I was in A.D.A. as a Vulcan Squad Leader during the cold war ( 1978-88 ) Been to Germany, Ft. Bliss, Tx, ROK, Korea, Ft. Cambell, Ky, Germany again and then I was medically discharged due to my injuries suffered at 101st A.D. Send me a PM the next time you come home for leave and I see if I can meet you to have a few beers and swap army stories. AIRBORNE! Death from above! GreyAliens
Welcome to the forum from another Newb. Greetings to our cousins los Borinquen from Venezuela. (I stay in touch with my family there daily). Greetings also from the U.S. and tanks for your service to this great nation of ours. I may take you up on that offer to P.R. next year mano. I love all things NASA / SPACE and SETI (My license plate on my Jeep was SETI GP (my initials being G.P.). I came back from a 2 week vacation in the caribean (Venezuela north coast). Anyway I have a 1990 Pathfinder SE V6 my wife got for me from a one owner / mechanic. I look forward to driving it to work and some off roading on weekends. Also look forward to getting to know all the Pathy owners all over the world and sharing stories, pics and tech tips.
