VG30E and vg33E differences

Hi I was checking the Xterra user manual and the pathfinder user manual mainly the xterra uses almost everything like the pathfinder but what is the real difference in the engine between the VG30E and the VG33E? the size? mileage per gallon? do you know ?

Mostly it's the cylinder bore size. The crank stroke is the same; VG33 swaps wouldn't be possible otherwise. The heads are slightly different as well. Aside from that the only differences are small things like sensors, wiring, ECU, etc. IIRC. ;)

Yeah, basic motor isn't much different, they moved the oil filter location is about the biggest change there. The big difference is in the accessories (AC compressor, Power steering pump, etc.) are all in different locations, and use different brackets and belts.
