Remote acess Key fob question 95 4x4 pfinder

Recommended Posts

hello

So this is my 2end post on this form, And 1st of all i wanted to say how much I have really enjoyed my Pathfinder so far. Its a 1994 4x4 all options Burgendy/ red w/ leather (needs aliment) Pathfinder automatic, (I wish it was 5 speed)

Anyways I got a Brand new key fob for the car. When I 1st got the car I programed the key fob with the button under the drivers seat, It worked great. Than after dissconnecting the battery to do some work (replaced coolant hose) I tryed to re-program the key fob and it will not work.

I turning the key on position and than take it out of the ignition, than pressing the button under the seat and The car will sound 5x's and than i can click the unlock button on the fob and the car will reconize the remote. But after that i put the key back in the ignition to make it stop beeping and the remote dose nothing. Has anyone had this problem or one like it?

Also im throwing coes 32 and 34, One is a knock sensor and one is a EGR. I have replaced the EGR and the EGR sillanoide and i still have this code?? Any ideas would be awsome. :crossedwires: The check engine light will come on solid for apx 2-5 min at a time, and than go out and come on randomly when drving?

And my cruse control dosnt work any idea's...

Thank you..

Check your vacuum line for the CC actuator. No vacuum, no CC.

When you replaced the EGR valve, did you clean out the lines for it? Could just be full of crud and blocked up. The knock sensor code doesn't generally cause a CEL to come on when driving, but I could be mistaken.

The knock sensor typically will be the result of a different problem causing the truck to run rich or lean depending on the problem. When ti runs like crap, the knock sensor has issues. Fix the first code first.
