darkestskydiver Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 while using the search a while back i came accross a post for upgrading the master cylinder, i think it was off a ford from the junk yard. i can't find it been looking for 2 day's now. anyone point me in the right direction please. 88pathoffroad Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 It's an 80's Chevy truck MC. IIRC all you have to do is redrill the mounting holes and then adapt the brake line ends to the Chevy size. MY1PATH Posted April 5, 2009 Share Posted April 5, 2009 Some things to consider; I just did a rear disc conversion (kept the stock MC) and the pedal feels allot firmer, my stopping is much better too. you can also swich to braided steel brakelines that don't expand like your stock rubber ones do when you hit the pedal.
