I was browsing ebay and saw this auction and thought I would post it here. i had not read anything about an RD28 in a pathfinder and apparently it goes in there (check out the pictures)... not sure how much work is required though.

Disclaimer... not my listing nor am I advertising for anyone... just interesting.

Also... all these Nissan diesels are damn expensive.. looking at $2,000 -$3,000 to your door.

Saw that too. Could be sweet depending on the numbers... Which are probably similar to the TD27 in the WD21 Terrano. Little inline-4 torque monsters! :aok:

I'm still waiting on the QD32ETi myself...

you do realise the rd28 is a straight six

i would have laughed if someone told me they fitted an rd28 in a pathy engine bay.... ohwell

if an rd fits why not a td42?

so much more potential.

the rd doesnt have much before boost comes on, assuming it has a turbo fitted

Yup, I'm aware it's an L6 engine. I was referring to the TD27 when I made that torque monsters comment.

As posted earlier, it could be possible to drop in a RD28 but would require some work. A QD32 is pretty much a straight drop into the R50. Hence, it's my engine of choice should I ever find one. :aok:
