does anyone Have a parts list I need to do Dana 44 axle coil conversion?

Also It will be mainly off road use only, SoI was wondering what my gears should be front and rear with tire size 35 -38 inch

With 35's i'd run 4.88's with a v6 38's i would run 5.13's.

thanks for the help, I have came over from the dark side... Lowerd minitruck world,and all of that air suspension stuff.

Got this pathy to have something that is different than what other ppl are lifting in my area.

 

Ok yea I will go with the 35's so I can get away with the dana 44 axle.

If you are looking for a lot of articulation, you might be able to use some of that bag knowledge for offroad.

I have heard stories over them rolling around corners if they are to soft.

Is it just what you are comfortable with?

Like I said beofre this this will not be daily driven but I would like to drive it around town on the w/e sometiimes

Unless your building a mall crawler, you shouldn't go over 35" with a D44 front. they wont last long. for 38's you need to find a D60

 

Used to be but now with the proper internals a D44 could handle 38's. Of course the question is would it be cheaper to just use a D60 instead of purchasing and installing the stronger internals?

that rule of thumb is for mostly stock D44's, but if your going to dump 2 grand in u-joints and cryo'd parts your better off with a D60 with some longfield's (cant wait till bobby long makes a set for the D44)
