Code 51..Injector circuit?

What does code 51 actually mean? My pathy stutters at idle and under load. I am familiar with a leaky injector because I just replaced one. Although there was no code in that instance. This time same sort of symptoms but, with a code. I did a search but found nothing specific. My #5 plug was completely fouled from too much gas (and yes, I checked spark..). I could easily change the injector but the code confuses me. Is the injector mechanically leaking or is circuit keeping it open?

check the FSM page EF & EC 108 ( real page 280 in the 94 FSM)

it runs through the diagnostic for code 51
