wag07
I have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder. Beginning last year, on occasion, I would drive someplace, cut it off my truck, then came back and trie to start it, nothing happened. No power! It didn't even turn over, completely dead. After continuously turning the ignition several times it would finally fire up. I replaced the starter and that seem to fix the problem for awhile. In the last few months it started doing it again and has now gotten to the point where it will die while I am driving it and when I to re-start it nothing happens and I have to keep turning the ignition until it finally comes to life. I have just replaced the battery thinking that would solve the problem, but it has since cut off on me several more times. Anyone have any ideas as to what may be the problem? InfamousDuckMan
Maybe change the battery cables? I did it to my 94 when I bought it, they looked a bit dodgey, & I havent had any problems with it, except there was one time when I tried to start it, & it wouldnt, but that was because the clamps weren't tightened... stereo turned on, ignition lights came on, but then didnt crank. --DuckMan.
