Grill Swap or buy

Hi all, I have an 02 path and am feeling out to see if anyone has a 2000-2001 R50 grill for swap or sale...I have an 02 but like the OEM mesh 00-01 better...thanks!

 

My color R50 is Chrome Silver for those interested in swapping!

wow i never even realized there are 2 different pathfinder grills...

 

i wish i didnt see this thread, though, because now everytime i see a 00-02 R50, i will say the year in my head

 

i do that with Hondas already and its crazy

The only thing that sucks about the mesh is whenever there is a stock pathy, in that darker "silvermist" color that has the mesh it can sometimes be confused with a Subaru Forester when coming at you---the Forester is tall for what it is and the Path is low for what it is!!

I don't mind them blacked out, but I prefer the newer style - guess that is why I got one I can see someone liking the mesh though, has a rugged look to it.

by golly, youre right and everybody else is wrong.

 

 

I just did a quick craigslist search and there are in fact 2000-2001 pathfinders that have the single horizontal bar, while the majority in those years have mesh.

Ok for the 99.5-01 XE & SE the mesh was offered for the LE the "bar" was offered. After 01 the SE & LE (only models offered in USA) the bar was the only grill offered. I have an 02 SE and like the look of the mesh.

No I meant I was ok with the mesh type being blacked out... but either way I preferred the bar style. I have a bar style grille that is not blacked out, just stock.
