Odometer not working on my 94

I got my new 94 last week, and the odometer isnt working, Spedo and all other guages work but no odometer. from what I was told theres 20k more than what it reads. Is there a sensor that maybe whent bad or is it the cluster thats spent.

There is a known issue with the 94-95 gauge cluster, I don't know what exactly it is though as I have older Pathys so never looked to far into it. IIRC it is something in the electronics in the cluster.

so essentialy I replace the cluster I fix my problem?
