mikemcma
I noticed yesterday that my right headlight ( I believe the daytime running light) was on. The lights were turned off, keys out of the vehicle and the battery almost dead. I removed the bulb and charged up the battery. Sounds like a wiring problem or switch problem? Any ideas?? 5523Pathfinder
Sounds like maybe a Daytime Running Lamp Control unit issue. It should be near your battery. I would unplug it and see if the light goes out. Maybe a fellow Canadian that has had some DTRL issues can ring in. I can find the wiring diagram if you wish to due some pin testing. Mr. Pickles
If not the daytime running lights, I'd bet on the switch. I'm not sure how they're wired for yours with DTRL, but the "normal/old/US" switches have been known to have problems with bad contacts, either stuck on or mostly not working at all, basically bad connections with those metal tab connector things. I took it apart and cleaned the contacts initially, but had to eventually replace mine too not long ago.
adamzan
If your in Canada which means you'll have the drl module, that is probably your problem. It happened to me and I had to get a new one from the stealership.
