Dreadeyed
I'd like to know exactly what's needed to be done or replaced on my 97 Pathy if I intend to put a 20" or 22" tires on it. I'm willing to add them on. Is there any down grade when adding bigger tires?. I'm assuming, maybe the performance could be different or might burn more fuel. Mr. Pickles
This sorta touches on the subject. With bigger tires, the effect is like changing the gearing. You won't feel as much pull off the line, and you'll cruise around at lower RPM's at the same speed. On flat ground, that isn't too bad, but once you hit a hill you'll really start to notice it, and you'll probably have more shifting there to keep up your speed. You'll probably lose a few mpg also. 88pathoffroad
Um, 20" tires would be very small indeed. I hope you're talking about wheels instead.
Mr. Pickles
Um, 20" tires would be very small indeed. I hope you're talking about wheels instead. Details, details. Would you rather they went all ghetto and asked about fitting "Dubs" or something?
