years ago when i had my yota, i was pulled over by a cop for not having covers on my 6x9 lights. i asked the cop if he'd let me go if i duct tape over them on the spot, and he did. Apparently, here in bc its' a big thing thats enforced.

the next morning i went out and got a few covers.

as for the fogs? i see people using them all the time, whether the weather is good or bad, and nothing is done, so i guess its ok.
