Guest duke
Hi Everyone. I was browsing Pathfinder stuff posted eBay and came upon this "performance" Zoom ECU. The auction description explains the logic behind the working of their ECU: basically dupes the car into thinking that the air coming is always cold. 1) Will the thing do anything at all? 2) If it does do anything, will it lead to premature engine wear/damage? (my engine has 125k on it, and I am more concerned with longevity, though a little extra juice would be nice) Click here for the eBay auction....... (I am not at all affiliated with the people selling this thing-a-majig)
herm
sounds like snake oil to me. I'd rather my ECU do what it was designed to, and tell the engine the real air temp. Can't be helpful for the motor in the long run. mike

Mr. Pickles
Yep, they're absolute crap. If you really want to do this, you can buy the resistor at Radio Shack for like 30 cents.
