Well I bought an AC Skid plate and well It will not fit.

I have an Arb Bumper and well they are not compatible with each other.

Well they are If I want to pull my Arb bumper off each time I want to remove the skid. Not an option IMO.

So I pulled off my skid plate and then remembered I have a second plate in the back yard. \

So I did what any logical thinking person with a welder would do.

When finished It measures 11/64 of an inch thick. just under 3/16 thick (thanks My1path for pointing out my error)

Now a quick powder coat and some herculiner and it is ready to be installed.

Powdercoated and Herculined.

Here are the finished photos.

I decided on Reflective chrome for the inside of the Skid. Just because I wanted to see how it looked and I did not really care what color it was going to be, just wanted to keep it from rusting.
