93 pathy oil pump.

hi, im new to the site and am looking at a second pathfinder. but the current owner tells me that the oil light comes on every time he drives after about 5 miles or so. any body familiar with this problem or tell me how hard or how much it would cost to have done at a shop. thanks

Could be a faulty sender, Gremlin in the wiring

All I'd do is hook up an oil gauge. Should be the easiest way to know for sure

Could try a new sender...Not too dear.

If it is good level on oil, then it is probably the sender wire grounding out someplace. My 88 has that trouble, still trying to trace where in the wire it's bad.
