So im going to need to be changing all the fluids in my rig and its prob never been done and it just turned over to 70k miles. I have looked at the FSM and think that i have a pretty good idea as to what needs to be done but i still have a few questions.

1: When draining the coolant is it really nessacary to drain the coolant from the block as well? and im kinda lost on the steps of doing this.

2: What fluids do you recommend for Tranny, T-Case, Front diff and Rear LSD diff?

3: Any tips or trick to know about?

4: How long should something like this take to change out Coolant, Tranny, Front/Rear Diff, T-case?

5: Does checkers or other parts store recycle used coolant etc...?

Thanks

1. i normally flush the engine with water a couple of times first so, no.

2. diffs the gear oil.. tranny.. what you got? t-c.. what's in it now? atf or gl?

3. definitely undo the fill holes on the diffs and t-c first before draining.

4. can you multitask? how good are you? how many pans do you have? lol 1h-2h?

5. most if not all auto part stores recycle oils.

CSU - CurleyMan and I have been using Redline and love it. I have it in the Trans, T-case, and both diffs.

There is a dealer near Drake and Taft. Go west on drake, past taft....pass a small neighborhood on your left, turn left at the Complete Automotive Repair.....you cant miss it....he has a bunch of RV stored right off the steet...... Tell him that you drive a nissan and that I told you to come in......sometimes he gives out a discount :)
