Got an 86.5/87 4x4 v6 pathy, need to replace the cv axle, found some for an '89, any ideas if it will fit, or am i gonna have problems.

Also, is there a difference between the passenger side and the drivers side?

Passenger and driver's side are the same. The ones from the 89 should work. I believe they changed the front spline count in 90, but don't quote me on that. :)
