Tranny problem?

I have had my 95 LE with an AT for about 20,000 miles now and when it gets to about 3000rpms it starts making like a grinding noise? after about 3500rpms this noise stops, i was thinking this might be a tranny problem but it does it on every gear. like i said ive had this truck for about 20,000 miles and its been doing it since i got it, any ideas/fixes would be greatly appreciated. cuz it's hard to be smooths with the ladies when you ride by and it sounds like your grinding pepper

sure its a grindin and not like a vibration rattle? mine was doin kinda the same thing from under the shifter at about 3K and it was just the heat shield around the exhaust rattlin. nothin a wrench and a BFH didnt fix

well if thats the fact and i hope it is it's not a problem, cuz i just got my headers and in and im replacing everything from them back.

Mine does it too and i found out a part of my exhaust is loose, i haven't looked into it much other than that though. Although someone put a piece of cardboard between the cat or whatever and the cross member so it wouldn't rattle i guess
