I recently found out, while doing a timing belt job on it, the pathfinder was killing itself quietly. The crankshaft keyway for the timing sprocket was eating away at the crank. I dont have the money to pay a shop to fix the crank or the means to do it myself so I JB welded a new keyway into the crank. I have a few questions. There is no timing mark on the front cover for the timing sprocket on the crank. How many teeth are supposed to be in between the timing marks and the belt? Also, I didnt mark the crank pulley and have no way of knowing where it is supposed to go.

Thanks,

Chris

If you had it at #1 TDC before taking it apart and didn't move anything while it was apart then the pully's marks should line up somewhere close to the pointer.
