i dont know what the correct name for the product im looking for is. but ill try to explain.

 

on a manual transmission you can change out the shifter knob just by unscrewing it, and there is a huge aftermarket of replacements.

 

i wanna know if anything exist for auto trannies, ive been searching but cant really find what im looking for. is there a way to put on a different knob?

i doubt it as on autos it isn't as simple as unscrewing the knob.

ill go one step further and say i really doubt it because of the switch for od on/off that is integrated in that handle...maybe you could do something creative with a shifter that has a nitrous switch in it or just not have a switch but the fact that its there makes everything harder

Anything electrical can be moved, but how on earth does that shifter come off?? Chevy from back in the day--cavalier, beretta, corsica had the same push button on handle deal and there was replacement shifters for them, there has to be some for the path, just without that buttom like LAX said....lots of work equals truly custom!!

Ebay has some shift knobs for a pathy with the od button. From the diagram it looks to just snap on the existing shaft then held in with set screws. Look for shift knob nissan pathfinder then scroll down.
