Coil Spring Specs

I've been going round and round looking for anyone that knows the springs rate of the rear coil springs on the WD21 pathfinders.

Knowing the rate of either stock or aftermarket springs from Calmini or Spencer Low Racing would help alot.

or even knowing the stock rate of JGC springs that people have used would help.

Thanks,

-Steven

hey thanks guys,

one more question.... whats the spring rate of the the springs datz 510 is running in the rear? i think he is using bronco springs.

thanks for the help i'm just trying to really dial in the rear suspension. it's doesn't feel right, right now.

at ride height the 185 springs that i'm using right now are compressed to 17 inches. but rides to soft. i need to get the same ride height with a stiffer spring.

Maybe some custom progressive shocks? How high is the rear? Maybe some ProComps for a lifted JGC with the ends cut would work. I have ProComps and the ride is fairly stiff, more than stock Nissan and stock JGC, but probably not as much as the ford coils. I think shortening them definatley made them stiffer. Go join and talk to the guys at RoninWheelers.com There are quite a few SAS there and they have tried a lot of different setups. AKCY98... from here is Ryan Gee over there. I know he's done some experimenting.

hey thanks man,

I have the rear lifted quite a bit. from the ground to the frame is alomost 22" and i'm running Bilstein 5125 12" travel shocks on the rear.

I'll have to get in touch with Ryan Gee to see what he says as well.

I'm also going to to talking to Bodyman909 from Pirate4x4 today and go take a look at his rig. we'll see what happens.
