For that much money, buy a Warn M8000. You can find them new for $450-500 US.

Doesn't have a brand name and a place like Princess Auto may paint it pink & is all plastic for the Barbie Hump of Love RV play set.

Definately get a descent brand(warn,superwinch...)

I picked up the Warn XD9000 since it's the largest winch that will fit in the ARB Bullbar.

 

The XD9000i does not!

Actually, that's a Superwinch. Not too bad for the price. And a hell of a lot better than the Costco "Champion" winches available a little under that price.

 

For you Americans, Princess Auto is not as it sounds. It's actually quite a store......all kinds of goodies available there. They remind me, from some people's description, of Harbour Freight.

i like the cheapy smittybilt one i have. way better than my 8k MM and it was only 280 shipped.

I saw those....can't beat the price. Are they made by Smittybilt?

no not made by smittybilt, actually made at the same chinese factory as mile marker. Mine had all parts marked "mile marker". Its basically a mile marker with a warn style clutch handle and not the cheap ass plastic ring thing.
