inca
I have a problem with my Terrano R3m-V ( Pathfinder? ) R50 Chassis with ZD30 DDTi engine. I am living at 3000mtrs above sea level. The motor is very sluggish. I was pointed in the direction of maf failure, which was indeed the case. I have now fitted a new maf, which is working normally ( 1.7 volts at idle, 2.8 volts at 2,500 revs and over 3volts at 4,000 revs ). The motor is running very slightly better, but still very sluggish. The engine revs no problem but lacks power. Any further hints where to look for continuing fault. The mechanic in the garage took out the oil dipstick while the engine was running and said there is very little compression. Heeeelp.
csutke
may be kinda hard to get a lot of help here as most of the R50 pathies here have the VG33E but good luck on finding your answers
94extreme
well, how is the fuel filter? air filter? yeah, may want to check compression.. pulling the dipstick is not accurate at all.
keelhaul
a leak in turbo system could do it. check rubber connector hoses between turbo and intake manifold and intercooler if it has one. An air leak like this may be hard to find as you would have to have turbo spooled up to hear it.
inca
The air, fuel and oil filters are all newly replaced. Also new engine oil.
