Guest edupin
 Hi there everyone, greeting from lovely Colorado. I have a Nissan Pathfinder 95 (Mechanical) and I love that truck.... it takes me to every single place I want to go. About a week ago started to make a strange sound that seems to come from the right front wheel. Like if I was driving over rough terrain and I was actually driving on a relgular street. Went home and checked that the free wheel was set to 4x2 and it was, however then moving it to 4x4 ( just testing it) it did not turn.... I had to get some big pliers to do it. However the left front wheel can be turn from 4x2 to 4x4 with my bare hand.... Any comments ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Thank you. Edupin. :help:
statikuz
I'll say the obvious, which might not be correct. Your hubs might be fried, or it could be one of your CV axles [but I don't know jack enough about that to tell you anything about it]. Someone else'll post here with what's wrong. =)
88pathoffroad
Sticking hubs aren't all that uncommon. Take it off and re-grease the appropriate internal parts.

Guest edupin
Changing the Hubs actually did it. It only cost me about $300 and my Pathfinder is working fine. THanks a lot for all your advice.
