2006 Pathfinder Slow acceleration, 4wd light on

Intermittant very slow acceleration from start, eventually catches up. 4wd light is on with switch in 2wd. Service engine light is on. Nissan repaired module in dash. Worked for 2 days. Help!

Bring it back. On an 06, there's no reason for you to have to troubleshoot anything yourself. Take it back, make them fix it.

I bought it used. It had been stolen but not damaged. Nissan says the warranty is void.

First of all, either buy a code reader, or go to an Autozone and get the code read to find out why your Service Engine light is on.

 

For the 4wd light, I'd assume a sensor, or short somewhere. Sorry I don't have more information, as I drive an old one, with less of the electronic toys.

how do you know it is out of 4 wheel drive? just because you hit the 2 wheel drive button does not mean it is in 2 wheel drive. take it in a wet feild or muddy area or even a wet parking lot and hit it and see if the front tires spin. the only reason i say this is my friend had this problem with his newer blazer the 4 wheel drive light was on and when you hit the 2 wheel drive button it would light up for a sec. just an idea

So, is it only the dealer that you visit that knows it was stolen? If so, take it to another dealer if you have the choice. When a vehicle is stolen, as long as it is repaired correctly, and the failed part in question is not damaged, the warranty should still be good and the part covered. Only thing you have to worry about is if the part is damaged due to it being stolen, then you may only be required to pay for the diagnosis.

I took it to a very respected autu electronics guy who has narrowed it down to a body control module. With it out of the circuit everything runs fine. He doesn't have the '06 software to program a new one if he installs it so I may have to go back to the dealer. Any ideas?
