I have to order up some chains since my job requires me to go to some really remote locations following these oil rigs around. On some rigs around Labarge Wy Chevron told me they are mandatory if you want to make it to the site. So I shopped a bit and found these, I have only used tire chains once on my old craptastic Ford flatbed at one of my old jobs. So i need to be schooled real quick as I want to order soon so they will be at my house next time I go home. Any advice is appreciated. I should add that they would be mostly off-road during winter. Usually we drive up to some county road then treck off the beaten path for anywhere from 2-25 miles.

Ok I am going to be ordering the tire chains I linked up above for the rear tires. I am also thinking of ordering a set of these emergency "strap on" ha ha chains, would they work on the front? I know I can not use regular chains up front due to clearance issues of the strut and spring but these look kinda low profile compared to the chains. what do you guys think? I am personally going to go and measure between the tire and spring myself with my 31x10.50' BFG's but I will not be able to for a little while as I am working and my truck is parked far far away at the moment.
