I'm looking at a 95 4x4, v6, auto trans, 4 door SE with 125k on the odo. The price is good ($4k). I've looked at the "newbies look here" and read that info. My big question - I had a 91 Nissan truck, 4x4 with v6 and auto trans (just like this pathfinder i'm looking at). The trans went out and cost me $3,000. I'm under the impression that this was common with that engine/trans combo. Does this 95 pathfinder have a good trans? What are the major things to look at (besides rust, clean fluids, service records, etc)? What kind of mileage do these get?

the auto's can go bad without upgrades to the cooling system...whats your location...I have a 95 manual that is in NC and I have listed it 2 times on ebay which I got a scammed bid the 1st go round and the 2nd go round I didnt get any bids...it has some issues but I'll send you the description if your interested...
