projekz
Well...I took apart the front and rear suspension to do my lift today and I completed everything really well. When I drove the truck out of the shop there was a pretty bad grinding/popping noise coming from the front right. I looks like the driveshaft is not sitting in the hub/flange properly and it's all crooked. Is there anything holding it in the flange that might've broken when I was swapping the suspension? Do I have to take the strut out again or can I go from the hub/drive flange to fix everything? Thanks
nissandoms47
you mean the CV halfshaft? you'll probably have to take it apart again and see whats going on.
projekz
I'll do that on monday...just wondering if it's better to go form the outside of the hub or the inside?
projekz
My passenger side driveshaft was broken at the outer cv joint. I replaced it in about 45 min. The fastest CV axle swap I've done so far! Edited July 11, 2007 by projekz
