Ratchet-strap it down to a medium-duty wood pallet, then buy a box or two of Saran Wrap and stick that sucker down with plastic. You can tape the shipping slips to the plastic and take it to a trucking company for an estimate then.

hmm thanks. ill check that out. the thing is, he is only in cleveland, and im near DC so its not tooooo terrible of a drive, but he wanted me to find out prices for shipping it.......thanks Martin
