I have this popping noise coming from the front passenger side that seems to be increasing more and more. It seems to only make a popping sound when the wheel or hub is rebounding back to its normal position after it hits a pot hole or medium size bump. It is especially bad when offroading on rocks or when the suspension is articulating significantly. What might this be? Ball joint, CV? I took both wheels off and wiggled the hubs on both sides in every direction and they are not budging (as you would expect). The ball joint dust boots and the cv boots are not torn that I can see. Any suggestions?
