Kevo14
I just had a 2" lift put under my 03 pathfinder SE. I want to put 31x10.50's under it now but I think that size tire will rub on part of the suspension. Has anyone else had to deal with this? What kind of back spacers do I need? The wheels are 16" factory wheels.
tmorgan4
No spacers of any kind needed for 31x10.5s.
trogdor
I just put 265 75 16 on mine and they fit great.

tmorgan4
I had 265/75/16 BFG ATs on mine for quite awhile on stock suspension and they fit great.
trogdor
That is after my lift, how did you fit those before a lift? I know with the tires that I have there would be no way to fit them.
WheelsofFortune
I have Pro Comp AT's 31x10.5 with no lift and they fit fine. They rub in the front at full lock other than that no other problems.
Kevo14
I think I'm gonna go with the 265/75/16's also. I didn't know they didn't make 31x10.50 for a 16" wheel. Possibly a summit mud dawg or a buckshot. It may be my imagination but it really looks like a taller tire will rub on the part of the suspension where the coil spring sits. Kevo14
After further research, I will be going with the 2656/75/16 also. Can't find 31x10.50's for the 16" wheel. It really looks like the taller tire will not fit without spacers. Maybe I'm just crazy. Hope to post pictures of my pathfinder after the tires go on. Trainman
I will throw something else into this mix. I run 2 sets of LT 245 75 R16 tires on my 02, regular tires mounted on the stock alloys and studded snowies on Toyota Tundra steel rims. The Toyota rims have a bit more offset than stock and the tires stick past the body (no flares on mine) slightly, so similar to adding spacers. Guess which ones rub? Yup, the snowies do, but only at full lock and when backing up. So like others have said, no need for spacers I would think. May just make it worse
Trancebear
Fueler mentioned he had to cut alot of metal/plastic to get his 265/75/16 to fit on stock wheels on his R50. Even 265/70/16 rud at full lock. 245/75/16 is the tallest tire that would fit mine without rubbing, the tire shop tried the other sizes. 245/75/16 is like having a 31/10.00/16, 265/70/16 is like having a 31/10.50/16 and 265/75/16 is like having a 32/10.50/16. trogdor
I have the big-o big foot XT in the 265 75 16 they are really nobby tires and they are really quite for what they are, my dads AT's are louder than my tires, and they give you the holes to put snow studs in if you like, It is the lug pattern that makes the tire so freakin quit, I was driving next to a guy with BFG MT's and they drounded out my tires, I thought it was pretty funny. I would go with the big o. http://www.bigotires.com/extranet/images/P.../XT(new)009.jpg I like them alot and they are freakin awsome on the trail.
