gacruiser Posted May 26, 2004 Share Posted May 26, 2004 I've had a couple of independent mechanics tell me that the OEM Nissan pads work best, but Nissan Performance Mag (www.nissanperformancemag.com) has been doing a series on building up an older Pathfinder and the author used MetalMaster pads (I think) with great success. I've always heard that performance metallic pads weren't that great for the street, since they have to heat up to work properly, but the web article indicates otherwise... This company is a part of Hitachi group, they primary products are bike brake pads (like ex. , AN is supplier for Sizuki and Kawasaki), but now they're manufacture cars barake pads too.
