My new sliders from Richard (frontier2k1). They bolt to the stock location.

They look great, I like how they stick out. How much?

Yeah, I asked for those outriggers to stick out. Should help keep the body further away from obstacles and give me something better to step on for roof access. I'll have to measure the exact distance from the inner rail for you later.

Oh, if by how much you meant pricing, you can read his thread here http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=10705 for more info. He has a style of sliders he makes often for weld-on on xterra but somebody recently got them on an R50. These he did custom for me (and I appreciate it Richard!!!)

If you go on Prado website -> pictures -> and the post called "New Sliders" they have a picture of the other style on a R50.

yeah those are mine. they are welded on and he did a great job. In the next couple of weeks i should get back down there to work on the rear bumper i am getting

What kind of a rear bumper are you having him make? One like Derrick's?

sort of its going to be tube though. hopefully lighter than derrick's. Richard said it wweighed close to 200 pounds

Should tell him to take some measurements after he makes it. I'm going to be wanting a rear bumper from him sometime so it's unfortunate that he no longer has an R50 to work off of.

Just wondering - is the purpose of the outrigger (attached to the Pathfinder unibody: see here) to attach sliders or step rails to the vehicle?

 

Mine rusted out completely and my mech claims this is an issue for passing inspection...
